The Resort
Set high up in the picturesque Dauphine region of the Southern Alps, Les Deux Alpes is surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery and the whole resort lies alongside the main slopes on both sides so you are never far from a lift. The impressive selection of bars, restaurants and shops is also spread over the mile long narrow stretch.
The bustling resort of Les Deux Alpes has a varied après ski scene which caters for all ages with various inviting bars and clubs. In addition to a heated outdoor swimming pool, outdoor ice rink and sports centre, Les Deux Alpes offers a tanking centre with flotarium, sauna and Turkish baths to help relax any aching limbs at the end of a hard day’s activity, what else could possibly make Les Deux Alpes skiing holidays better.
Well-worth a visit is the charming little village of Venosc with direct gondola link (8 minutes) to Les Deux Alpes. Les Deux Alpes is a mere one-hour drive from Grenoble (75km).

Nursery nurses and qualified staff welcome your children from 6 months to 23 months in a comfortable and recently equipped environment (beds, cots). There is a possibility of a hot lunch. Medical or vaccination records are necessary. The number of places is limited, from 8.30am to 5.30pm.
Places must be reserved a day in advance before 5.30pm.
At the beginning of your stay, an adaptation period of 2 half days will be necessary in order to help your child settle. If there are still difficulties at the end of these 2 days, the care of the child will be decided by the team with the parent's agreement.Open 8.30am-5.30pm.

Off season there is a telephone receptionist from 9am to 11am, Monday, Tuesday, (if no reply, please leave your details on the answer phone.)
Enrolment- at the centre every day from 8.30am to 11am and from 2.30pm to 5pm: Medical certificate must be shown, stating that the child's health presents no problem to his/ her integration in the nursery and that the child's vaccinations are up to date.
Proof of the parents or guardians identity is required.
Children do not do a full day on their first day.
The rest of the child's stay will depend on his/ her adaptation to the centre.
Children must arrive before 10am and leave before 2.30pm.
Activities:
Art and craft, cooking, model making, reading, music ...
The children go outside in the morning and afternoon to play in the snow (sledging, snowshoes, igloo) and discover the mountain setting.
A programme of activities for the older children is drawn up each week respecting the weather forecast.

Snowshoeing, ice climbing (on ice waterfalls), paragliding, climbing, quad, ice-skating, ice grotto, the ‘white cruise’ (discover the glacier on a tracked minibus), snow scooters, ice-driving…
Eating Out and Après-Ski in Les Deux Alpes
Over 40 bars and 3 nightclubs – ‘Avalanche’ open 10.00pm to 5.00am, ‘l’Opera’ open 10.00pm to 4.30am, and ‘le Wasa’ open 10.30pm to 5.00am. Entry fees may vary from € 5 to € 12, depending on days and season.
There are also quieter places too, plenty of choice of restaurants from budget Italian to 4 star classic French, a cinema… Les Deux Alpes is a very lively resort.
